Illusion Boutique "Near Beach" (Adults Only) Hotel Playa del Carmen

The hotel's rooftop swimming pool was a great feature at a reasonable price. It provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience during my stay. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal, being just a few minutes away from the beach and surrounded by vibrant nightlife options. This made it convenient to explore and enjoy the local attractions.

There were a few negative aspects to my stay. the TV in my room didn't work, which was disappointing.

The staff was welcoming, gracious, and helpful. Quiet and calm oasis away from the crowds. Perfectly located. Rooftop pool and bar area. Cleanliness was great, constantly cleaning all common areas. Pedro from the rooftop bar and breakfast was especially kind.

The hotel is located right next to busy 5th Avenue, in the centre of everything, making it convenient to explore all the attractions along 5th Avenue. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with well-appointed bathrooms and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast offered in the adjoining restaurant is of high quality, satisfying our hunger until late in the afternoon. The terrace and small plunge-pool provide a pleasant space to relax.

Some noise disturbance from the late-night bars/clubs at the bottom of 12th street may be heard, especially for light sleepers.

The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and 5th street, the main tourist area. The room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was excellent from the moment I arrived, offering me a complimentary drink and snack.
